WZ De Volewijckers

This location is only for children from the Biënkorf and the Montesorrischool Boven ‘t IJ. After a day at school, it’s time to get active and play outside. Woest Zuid is located on the first floor of the spacious clubhouse of ASC De Volewijckers with several rooms and large windows that overlook the fields. There is plenty of space to play and discover or relax and reset. We get active by exploring various play areas throughout the neighborhood, or by using the sports park Buiksloterbanne.

Woest Zuid De Volewijckers is for children ages 4 to 12. With two programs, one aimed at ages 4 to 6 and another for 7 to 12, each child gets the space to move and play based on their own ability and experience.

Our after-school club believes in the joy of playing outdoors, the power of discovery, and the importance of movement and free play. Woest Zuid creates pockets of wilderness in the city by designing environments where physical activity meets imagination and adventure. 

Each location team of Woest Workers is thoughtfully assembled to build a supportive, diverse, and inclusive experience for all children. There is always a balanced women/men ratio. Our Woest Workers are young at heart and have been trained to support children of all abilities and personalities.
